The Marquee style has been around for many years. It is a very comfortable chair ergonomically engineered with lumbar support. The seat cushions feature a "waterfall" design for extended leg comfort. Finding the perfect home theater seating

There's nothing like kicking back in a comfy chair to watch your
favorite movie. Finding home theater seating that fits your body and
budget is were the real work comes in. With so many price ranges
(from $99 to $1000) it is enough to make your head spin. A quality
commercial grade movie chair should last at least 25 years with
regular movie theater patron use. Here's how to pick one that won't
break your back or your budget.

A Moving Experience
Similar to Goldilocks' dilemma, which chair is just right? A true
rocker theater chair back and seat rock in unison when you sit back
into the chair. The rocking mechanisms differ from each chair model.
For a customized rocking motion the tension can be adjusted. The
inner workings of these models include a rubber block which controls
the rocker. The softer the rubber, the smoother the rock. For a
stiffer rock choose a harder rubber. Until you find the one that
is "just right".
Another option is the lounger back chair. These chairs are similar
to the true rockers with the exception, the seats are stationary.
This chair uses a tension spring for the back. If all this moving is
too much for you, or you simply do not have the room. A fixed back
chair is the way to go. Unlike the traditional, upright theatre

You can position the backs in a fixed recline or more upright.

Take a Seat
Theater chairs are like a good pair of shoes - looks are important,
but you won't wear them if they are uncomfortable. When shopping for
home theater seating consider the way you would sit in the movie
theater. Ask yourself: Would my feet touch the floor? Where would my
head and neck lay on the headrest? How's the cushioning? And look
for foam with a high density rating, which will ensure that it keeps
its shape longer. Chairs upholstered in commercial grade fabric are
the most durable. They are designed to withstand normal wear and
tear of commercial movie theaters. We all know and have seen what
your local theater chairs are put through. Don't forget to ask how
many times a sample of the fabric has been machine-tested for
durability - you want one that's been rubbed at least 10,000 times.

Finally, with any furniture purchase, check the manufacturer's
guarantee and opt for one that covers you for at least 1 year.
